Michelle joined Emerge Australia in 2020.
Michelle was awarded a PhD in 2007. Much of her career in medical research has been driven by the need for better diagnostic tools to study, diagnose, and test treatments for diseases characterized by dementia. Her research was supported by both local and international fellowships, grants, and collaborative partners from around the world.
With experience in managing academic, hospital, and commercial projects, Michelle now aims to use her expertise to support and promote ME/CFS research in Australia. She’s motivated by innovative research that can make a real impact and ultimately improve the lives of people dealing with ME/CFS.
